Psalm 139:14 "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvelous are Your works, and my soul knows that full well." We must understand that God made us unique and different in our own special way. We are wonderfully put together by the Lord, made in His image. Alleluia! It took me awhile to recognize this fact. But God He got me to that place. Sometimes, it takes a while to understand this verse depending on our cultures and the kind of society we are born into. When you are born into an environment where you observe love and affection around you, the ability to be yourself, positive words are spoken to you and over time you develop into that person that you were destine to be. But if your surroundings, does not reflect that ideology, you can grow with a lack of confidence in yourself. It can stunt your growth making you unable to progress. But I'm here to let you know that you can change and fulfill the purpose and plan what the Lord has for you. Yes, you can rise from the ashes. It doesn't matter where you are, if you give your life over to Him. He will take you to paths unknown. He will bring you from brokenness to destiny, He will make your crooked path straight. Yes, it may be difficult and at times you may feel that you cannot make it that you may desire to give up. But it's through pain and that determination in you to change that you can do it. Yes, give your life to Jesus and He will teach you how to believe in yourself. I share this story with you because it was me at one time - God took this broken person and made her to recognize her potential. Yes, I experienced hurt, being ridiculed, rejected, shunned and abandoned by people who were supposed to love me. But as I grew to understand that they didn't know to give something that they didn't get themselves. But my thing is that if you need help, you can ask. But you have parents who were quite prideful that they didn't think that they needed assistance. They didn't even ask God whom they claim to be believers. So, I'm sharing this with you that you should take your life back, make a transition. At times, you may have to walk away from people who will not be apart of the new you. It takes time to grow. But you can do it, if you try. Just take it one day at a time. Trust God and He will take you through it, persevere, don't give up. Remember Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoyed this post and it has been an encouragement to you. Until next time, Blessings! Apostle Faith
